Freedom Across Australia was formed in December 1999 to continue and enhance a project commenced in 1988 at Ward 43 Lidcombe Hospital named ‘Travel 43′ to provide low cost holidays for Australians with severe disabilities. At present Freedom Across Australia is working to:
1. Maintain a specially equipped bus and trailer.
2. Develop existing links with Lions, Scouts and Church groups for hospitality.
3. Attract financial support.
